Rockcliffe Boathouse Restaurant & Marina: Waterfront Dining in Ottawa

Pleasant to sit on the floating dock and to choose to sit in the shade under a tent or to sit directly in the sun. Portions were quite generous and offered pretty standard pub fare on the menu. I really enjoyed the chicken panini. Wait staff was super friendly and even was willing to help me with practicing my French. Greatly appreciated! I'll be back. Nice casual spot to spend some time! Minor comment - the shrubs on the way down to the parking could use a trim as there's not room for two cars anymore but I do love how the bottom half of the driveway is in much better! Parking fees weren't so bad for 90 minutes.

First time here , will start with the view, it was breathtaking. The parking is a pay parking, the food looked well priced but when brought the portions they where very small , one beer is 9$ garden salad is 13 and was missing half of veggies mentioned on the menu. The service was ok . That place with the right management could be the best spot in Ottawa.

The meal I got was pizza combination. The meal arrive within 5 minutes. That being said, obviously it was a frozen pizza. Restaurants should not be serving frozen pizza snd then pricing it at 21 dollars. Other than the meal, the view was fantastic. I wonder what else is frozen??? Also, I would suggest that the restaurant should cover the parking cost as a perk.

The staff here are always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, even when we need a quick order before heading back out on the water. Their service is top-notch, making every interaction a pleasure. The food is fantastic, with fresh and delicious options that hit the spot after a day on the river. Whether it's a laid-back meal with guests or a quick refreshment stop, they always take great care of us. The location is unbeatable—scenic views, a relaxed vibe, and the perfect waterfront setting. Rockcliffe Boathouse truly understands the needs of boaters, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience by the water. Love it all!

The only surprise was once you get down the unpaved hill to the location, surprise, you have to pay for parking, $4.00 per hour. Apparently this is new. Many people just do a uturn back up the unpaved hill. Sadly, this may greatly affect this local business over time.

It was the perfect place to go grab a bite and brew that day! It was hot and humid out, but sitting by the water was perfect! Great breeze, great scenery, and great atmosphere! It was very busy that day, but who could blame people for flocking to Rockcliffe Boathouse Restaurant on such a sweltering summer afternoon!? If you enjoy boats, brew and breeze to keep you cool during the summer, you can't beat Rockcliffe Boathouse Restaurant to keep you happy!

A place to enjoy the view. Food was average, but their nachos is good, and plates were not so big, but the ambiance of the place makes up for it. Parking is paid too
